As some of you may already know, and some of you may not, there are several types of collectables in the game that can, instead of being turned in to the collectors for the small rewards, be posted on the Auction House and sold, some for quite a bit of money. Most of the items here will sell well because they are ingredients in crafting rituals.
I'm compiling a list of such items, here, for the benefit of all players. I'm not going to post prices, because those fluctuate. But if you run across a type of collectable on the Auction House that looks like it's selling for a good amount (more than one or two posts of the item..sometimes people post things that aren't worth anything just hoping to sell), post it here and I'll add it to the master list.
Valuable Collectables
Amber Vials (crafting)
Blades of the Dark Six (crafting)
Caravan Logbooks (crafting)
Deadly Feverblanch (item enhancement rituals and crafting)
Fragrant Drowshard (item enhancement rituals)
Funerary Token (item enhancement rituals and crafting)
Glittering Dusts (crafting)
Lightning-Split Soarwood
Luminescent Dust (item enhancement rituals)
Marks of the Keeper (crafting)
Pages torn from a Research Notebook (crafting)
Powdered Blood (crafting)
Research Diaries (crafting)
Signets of the Devourer (crafting)
Silver Flame Hymnal (item enhancement rituals)
Skull Fragments (crafting)
Small Wooden Idol (crafting)
Sparkling Dust (item enhancement rituals)
String of Prayer Beads (item enhancement rituals and crafting)
Sweet Whitecap (crafting)
Tome: Prophecy of Khyber (item enhancement rituals)
Vial of Pure Water (item enhancement rituals)
Withered Cryptmoss (crafting)
Dragonshards
Small, Medium, and Large Eberron Dragonshards all fetch a good price at the Auction House, generally.
Syberis Dragonshard Fragments: Can be combined into bigger Dragonshards using the Stone of Change. The bigger the shard, the more it will sell for.
Khyber Dragonshard Fragments: Can also be combined in the Stone of Change. Bigger ones go for good prices.
As stated, the values of the collectables will fluctuate. Feverblanches used to go for around 5K each, but now they are down to around 1K. Still, it's extra money in your coinpurse, which is always good. On the other hand, some can go quite high in value. I just got notice in the game that my one Fragrant Drowshood sold - for 40K. So yeah...just check the going rates on the item before you post, and it should be all good.
Good luck and hapy hunting!
